Grenoble INP – France
Laboratory of Electrochemistry, Physic and Chemistry of Materials and Interfaces
LEPMI is a mixed unit of the CNRS (UMR 5279), associated to the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) and the University Joseph Fourier of Grenoble (UJF). The research activities are centred on electrochemistry since more than thirty years. The studied electrochemical systems are varied, but developed common competences (physicochemical characterization, materials, modelling) federate a great part of this laboratory. LEPMI is well recognized in the whole of these aspects at the theoretical level (modelling of reaction kinetics) and for the experimental approach (devices of structural, microstructural and electric characterizations). One of the strong topics of LEPMI in the field of energy relates to the gas electrode reactions in electrochemical systems based on ionic and/or electronic conducting ceramics and the characterization of their behaviours by means of electroanalytic methods.
